User-Agent string

This line is used by the browser to tell the web-server its name and version. Usually web-servers do not use this information to optimize the returned page to the specific browser version. RSS Wizard can pretend that it is one of the popular browsers. You can specify this line manually or turn it off at all.

 

Referer string

This line is used by the browser to tell the web-server the page that referred the user to the requested one. Usually this information is analyzed by the site owner to determine user surfing patterns. By default, RSS Wizard specifies the address of the server that the source page was downloaded from.

 

Use proxy server

If this option is turned on, RSS Wizard will use a proxy-server to download data from the internet. The address, username and password required by the proxy-server can be specified in the fields below.
